BOOK OF ACTS KING JAMES VERSION. 1779 ACTS CHAPTER 2:42 To 46

First Love
42  And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

43  And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

 44  And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

45  And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to allmen, as every man had need.

46  And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

Not put a finer point on it but it is self-evident that the church  of Jesus Christ be they Anglican, Catholic, Methodist, prebeterian, Pentecostal, or Baptists have lost the love of Christ.

JESUS had something to say about Christians like this and that was.

Mat 23:27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whitesepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.

Even the person who wrote the book of James had something to say about the brethren who behaved in a cold hearted way.

James 2: 14-23
14  What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?

15  If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,

16  And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be yewarmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?

17  Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

18  Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

19  Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

20  But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

21  Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?

22  Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

23  And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

Pew warmers who have hearts of stone and ice are no good to Christ.

SAINTS who sin are  not saints but backsliders who need to repent.
Churches with fat bank balances, tall steeps and snobbish church members are no good to Christ.

Church members who do not have the love of Christ (that get down on your knees and was the homeless mans feet with your own hands is the type of Christian that Jesus wants and that is the type of Christian he came to save.)

How can Church leaders justify lavish lifestyles and live like kings when some of their church members go to bed hungry and live in hovels.

Did you know that close family members of Mary and Joseph 100 years after the birth of Jesus we’re brought before the Roman Emperor and questioned about their occupation and property they owned. They replied we have a bit of land that we farm to feed our family. They showed the emperor their hands. Hands made tough by work. It is said that the emperor despised them (through nothing of them that they we’re of no account because they had nothing) now if the first family of the church had nothing how can the servants of Christ justify wearing gold chains, for coats Rodeo drive suites and eating caviar?

Did Jesus not feed five thousand with a few loaves and fishes.
How many dis you feed today pastor?
