As we are living at the dawn of the computer age we have made huge advances.
Everybody and their dog has a gmail or free mail account.
Our Google drives can be used to host our own personal websites.
Every dog and cat and their masters have Facebook accounts.
Nigerians and other nefarious fellas want to help us inherit a long lost unknown dead unreletives fortunes with us and at the same time lighten our wallets to help da poor little children in the villages back home in Africa.
Now a small blooper can turn into international viral YouTube blockbuster. Now no need to call the ghost busters for a spiritual disturbance we check out the web and do it ourselves
Now a personal opinions expressed on a Facebook page can get a fellow fired or hired by multinational corporation.
Everyone’s a writer , everyone’s an author and an authority on everything for the big bang to the end of a time when everything fizzles and pops out of existence and every thing in between and even some topics that don’t really exist.
It is like a never ending closing down sale everything must go special, special 24 hours a day 7 days and nights a week 52 years every year.
Or a neverending yard sale.
Every moment a day someone is commenting another is posting and another is receiving or sending an email.
You got mail, bills, contracts, images, blogs, pictures of dogs, spam, companions, quotes, pictures of goats, mails from interest groups,
THEN there’s those fellows in China who won’t sell use bone China but want to sell us their slaveshop goods of inferior quality made by 9 year old and granny’s,
Lest we forget Kerry in India who wants to design our new website and she tells us she knows CEO and PHP.
Then those terrible fellas in eastern Europe who have those hack and crack sites that give Microsoft those terrible frights.
And the fella in Russia who wants you to marry his sister and at the same time don’t forget those people with the torrents.
Now we can see all the art in Florence, or the Mona Lisa, or take a trip to Uganda and see the gorillas in the mist or visit Antarctic without leaving our homes and we don’t need to use combs or pack a suitcase.
Spend time with Vikings and captain Kirk and go where no one has gone before.
Visit London and India on the same day, we are the ultimately armchair travellers
With friends from Mumbai to Alberta.
Traveller in time from Adam to the end if time and space we race, never sparing a moment for our gardens, our neighbourhoods our local friends.
Where will it all end it’s driving us all round the bend.
