On the 1st of June 1970 my grand father Cecil Llewellyn Sterley passed away at 10am in the morning it was my mother’s 26th Birthday.
At 1:30 pm a florist van stopped in front of our house the florist got out of the van and took a beautiful bunch of 26 red roses out of the van and opened the front gate of our house and walked to the door knocked and my mother opened the door the man handed my mother the flowers and a card from her late father. The man wished her a Happy 26th Birthday.
It turns out 6 months prior to the day my grand father had paid for and ordered the roses for his daughter.
Maybe he had a feeling that he was not going to be around or he was just planning ahead.
